ECON Healthcare Group garnered two awards at the 5th Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards, held in conjunction with the International Ageing Asia Innovation Forum. Graced by Ms Pirkko Mattila, Minister of Social Affairs and Health, Government of Finland, the Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards Dinner Ceremony was held on the 26th of April 2017 at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Singapore, in celebration of efforts that deliver dignity, health and happiness to the region’s older adults.
The prestigious awards included finalists from Thailand, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, China, USA and Germany, who participated in the various categories. ECON Healthcare Group received two major awards, namely the Best Geriatric Healthcare Operator and the Best Rehabilitation Operator. The former honours the healthcare operators that provide the best healthcare treatment, rehabilitation and medical services for older adults, while the latter honours healthcare operators that provide the best programmes that enable improvements for daily living, strength, and wellbeing.

Launched in April 2013, the annual Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards is the first of its kind in the Asia Pacific region that recognises the best in eldercare product and service delivery. To date, ECON Healthcare Group has garnered four Asia Pacific Eldercare Innovation Awards since 2013.
