Updating our policies in tandem with national advisories

We are committed to providing a COVID-safe environment to ensure the health and safety of our residents, staff and visitors to our nursing homes. We have updated our Visitor Policy in tandem with national advisories.

Visitors to our centres are requested to abide by our visiting regulations. All guidelines and restrictions put in place are to safeguard the health of our patients, residents, clients and staff. We thank you for working with us to ensure safety for everyone.

Change in visitation policy

In line with MOH and AIC’s regulations, we continue to take appropriate measures to reduce the risk of further transmission of COVID-19 among our seniors. We have revised our visitation policy, with effect from 11 January 2021.

Please refer to the revised visitation policy below:

1. We will allow up to 2 visitors per visit at our nursing homes. We continue to limit the number of visitors per visit to isolate risks and prevent transmission into our homes and out to the community. Each visit is limited to a duration of 20 minutes per session. Each resident can only receive one visit per week, up to a maximum of two designated visitors per visit.

2. Each resident is now permitted 4 sponsor-designated visitors. If the sponsor is one of the designated visitors, he or she can only nominate three other persons as designated visitors.

3. Completion of our online health declaration form. All visitors are required to fill in our online health declaration form before entry. The online form can be accessed via QR Code within our respective centres. Visitors with travel history within the last 14 days will be denied entry.

4. All visitors are to be equipped with the TraceTogether app or token for entry into our nursing homes. We will be implementing TraceTogether-only SafeEntry (ToS) at all entry points across our facilities. Mandatory SafeEntry check-ins across ECON Healthcare facilities will only be conducted using TraceTogether Token or App thereafter. This system will help us further strengthen contact tracing abilities.

Supporting & Connecting with your loved ones

Supporting our residents’ mental wellbeing is a key focus during this time. We have increased our focus on wellbeing programmes and lifestyle activities within our homes.

Family is important and we understand that this is a difficult period for everyone. You can remain connected with your loved one through video calls via WhatsApp. Kindly contact our Homes to have this arranged.

Thank you for your understanding

Please do not hesitate to contact us at services@econhealthcare.com if you have any further questions. We sincerely thank you for your understanding and support during this period and wish you good health and happiness as we enter into the new year.
