Music brings people together and what better way than to have our very own SG50 Karaoke Competition at our ECONLIFE! Hub so that our seniors can showcase their talents and serenade their friends with renditions of the popular Chinese songs of all times such as “月亮代表我的心”, “光辉岁 月”, “朋友” and “新不了情”.
Indeed, at ECON we recognize the evolving profiles of our seniors and their corresponding needs and aspirations. The seniors want to be engaged, empowered and enthused. We constantly feel the pulse on the ground and innovate to ensure our activities and programmes are relevant and resonate with our multi-generational crowd because at ECON, we want to facilitate connected communities and contribute to a more cohesive caring environment for all. It is humbling and inspiring at the same time to see how our staff and volunteers come together to realise this ideal!
