Our residents attended the SPARKS! Art Wellness Exhibition held by AIC at Raffles City. It is an exhibition showcasing art projects and pieces from about 100 nursing home residents. The art projects came from the art residency programme, a joint initiative by Agency for Integrated Care and National Arts Council.
Our residents got to see some of their artworks displayed at the exhibition and also had the chance to meet and greet our President, Ms Halimah Yacob. It was a meaningful exhibition as our residents felt very happy to see their handcrafted art pieces displayed for shoppers of Raffles City to see.
Prior to the exhibition, eight of our residents from Upper East Coast centre took part in an art residency programme. Artist Moses Sia conducted 10 sessions at our centre as he facilitated our residents in creating art pieces.
