We signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chongqing Civil Affair Bureau under the China – Singapore Chongqing Connectivity Initiative (CCI) at the FutureChina Global Forum held at Ritz Carlton. This MOU is a move to co-develop in the field of eldercare services in areas such as planning and design, operation management, medical care and nursing and educational training.
Presiding over the MOU signing was Mr Tang Liangzhi, Mayor, Chongqing Municipality, People’s Republic of China, and Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister for Trade and Industry, Singapore. We would be sharing our nursing experiences, management methods, operational models and service standards with Chongqing Civil Affair Bureau as they support an ageing population of about seven million seniors in Chongqing over the age of 60.
This is a key milestone for us as it is a great opportunity to bring the business expansion into China. China is a huge market with abundant growth prospects, and we are happy to share our platform and network with Chongqing to build and grow the eldercare industry.
